Although this is well below growth projections of previous years, it is still seen as a bright spot within the increasing tide of bad economic news. Forrester reported that this growth, while meager, should be considered as positive especially when compared to the major downturns that occurred in 2001-2002 following the dot-com bust. During that time, the IT market experienced a decline of between 15 and 20 percent. In addition to an increase in IT spending in 2009, Forrester further projected a two percent growth in software sales.
<p style="margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; Although this is well below growth projections of previous years, it is still seen as a bright spot within the increasing tide of bad economic news.
<p style="margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px;
